Cold Life by Vincent Sheer
Alone in this room Where the light is forever gone away Infinite walls around me That seems to disappear far away All my fears are turning inside of my body Confined into the despair A deadly silence stands in the air The loneliness is a cold friend Lost among a huge crown Of unknown faces With a hate in their shameless eyes Their consciences are cold like the ice I’m searching the way To get away from this cold life Another gloomy day with a dark sky The shadows are a part of me I cannot deny My memories stain my sane life Dreams deceive all my hope My blurred minds want a reason To stay among the living persons My eyes can’t see quietly the reality Bitters tears are the reflect of my sadness And all the remorse trapped in me But I’m still facing the present day Believing to be able to win I withdraw into silence day after day A dull existence among a huge crown Of unknown faces Don’t let them take me down Revealing my dark side I’m searching the way To get away from this cold life… The truth is lost in an eternal silence Forever hidden in you and me Behind the veil of the shame Our emotion are trying to survive
